The Artist's Studio - Our Club Flower Show

With only four more days until our Club's Flower Show at The Seligmann Homestead on Friday, May 20th, we wanted to pass on some last minute requests and information:

1. Please remember that this is a "bring your own lunch" meeting this month.

2. Even if the weather forecast for Friday doesn't seem promising, please bring a folding
chair. If it's nice, we'll all eat and meet outside, from 11 AM to 1 PM, at The Seligmann
Homestead. And, if the weather doesn't permit, Susie Hull has graciously offered us
cover during that time at Applewood Orchards.

3. During the morning, we are going to need volunteers to act as runners. Once entries
have been passed, the runner takes them and places them in the exhibit area. This applies
only to those entries in the Horticulture Division. Please contact Kathy Stradar @
kathleen@stradar.com or 845-565-5265 if you can volunteer.

4. During the day and through the evening, we are going to need Music DJs. Simonee
Tierney's husband is providing the actual music in CD form. We will have one for the
daytime and a second for the Cocktail Reception. We need two volunteers - one for the
day and one for the evening. All you have to do is keep an ear out, and when the music
stops, run to the player and re-start the disc. Please contact Pam Breeman @

5. If you live out of the Warwick area and would like a place to get refreshed, redressed,
etc., Susie Hull and Pam Breeman have offered to provide places in their homes for
you to relax and transition from the Show to the Cocktail Reception in the evening.

6. IMPORTANT! Please help Susan Christensen prepare for the Cocktail Reception
by letting her know if you are coming or not, and how many will be in your party, with
their names. The contribution per perosn is $60. If you are not able to attend, please
consider make a donation. This is not only going to be a fun nght, but it is a fund-raiser
for our Club as well. Please feel free to contact Susan @ susan.w.christensen@gmail.com
